Professor Victor Seidler is Emeritus Professor of Social Theory in the Department of Sociology in Goldsmiths University of London. He has written widely on philosophy, ethics, gender and social theory and his recent work includes Making Sense of Brexit: Democracy, Europe and Uncertain Futures and Ethical Humans: Life, Love, Labour, Learning and Loss. His most recent book is Covid-19 and Global Inequalities: Vulnerable Humans (Routledge), on which the talk is based.
