Humanism is a philosophy of life and ethics, based on a concern for humanity and for the natural world - we believe in finding human solutions to human problems. It is also a life stance which does not look beyond this world for inspiration or explanation. Humanists believe in the good within people and in the individual's right to freedom of choice in all the decisions between birth and death. A fundamental attitude of humanism is that people should show respect to others irrespective of class, creed or race.
