The annual Humanist memorial service took place on Sunday, 18th January at the LexIcon in Dún Laoghaire, with celebrants and members coming together to remember those we have lost. The service offered a meaningful opportunity to honour, in a humanist way, the lives of members, friends, and loved ones, and to reflect together in a spirit of remembrance and gratitude. In previous years, this gathering has been a healing and positive experience for many who attend, and this year was no different.
Through songs, poetry, readings, and personal reflections, attendees marked the first time since the pandemic that this service was held in person. It was a beautiful and warmly shared occasion, and a fitting way to remember those who have died.
